The Fragrance Boutique chain of stores is the leading perfume franchise in the Southern Africa. A Fragrance is a personal taste, a signature of your style. It is perceived to be an expensive luxury. It was through this realisation that Fragrance Boutique was established.
We realised that luxury and expense needn’t go hand-in-hand. Fragrance Boutique employs a unique formula. We are a dispensing retail perfumery and stockist of original French fragrances for men and women. We purchase and import our fragrances in bulk directly from Grasse, France. The marketing strategy is effective – the mechanics of the business are simple.
Fragrance Boutique was established in February 1999 and the doors of the first retail outlet in the Emporium Tygervalley Centre opened in September of that year.
We strive to deliver a shopping experience beyond expectations. As we are selling a luxury item it is important that we create a unique shopping experience. We want to entice the customers into our stores and offer them a taste of luxury. We are not just selling a fragrance, but selling the
experience itself. To keep up with ever-changing market trends each perfume is personally selected from our suppliers in France. This ensures that we always stock the latest fragrances to cater for our wide range of customers we brand each fragrance with our packaging, enabling us to maintain an extremely competitive pricing structure. This effective marketing strategy has resulted in great success. Due to successful trading in our first outlet we have opened numerous other stores nationally

Fragrance Boutique will specialise, respond and contribute to International trends in the fragrance industry. We will need to reflect these developments in order to meet customer expectation. This exciting endeavour will bring and capitalise on a much needed service providing originally imported fragrances form Grasse, France at an affordable price.
The idea behind Fragrance Boutique is to provide customers with a boutique, up market yet affordably priced store that they can purchase all their goods for special occasions, rather than having to go to different stores for their fragrance requirements (balms,body lotions, bath oils etc).
