Fire Equipment Sales & Services (Pty) Ltd trade as Fire-Quip was established in September 1986 in Welkom, Free State and is proud to be celebrating years of service to the fire fighting industry. Due to public demand and excellent service we’ve opened our branch in Bloemfontein in March 2010.

As an innovative and dynamic company we have a diverse product range. Our products – everything from our SABS approved extinguishers, hoses, hose reels, fire cabinets, first aid equipment, PPE equipment, fire suppression systems and automatic sprinkler systems – are of the highest quality. We only make use of accredited training providers for our range of training. We design and manufacture signs; our product range, although varied, offers our clients a complete range of digital printing, screen printing, vehicle/trucking, symbolic safety signs and vinyl cut lettering.
Fire-Quip Welkom was one of the first fire companies in South Africa to achieve the SABS diamond mark in 1985 – SABS 1475-1:2006 & 2:2008 with permit number 4283/6140 (Welkom) & Bloemfontein 9014/14328. Fire-Quip were awarded ISO 9001:2008 accredited certificate with Certificate No LS 4664, the first fire company in South Africa for reconditioning fire fighting equipment.
We are full associate members of the Fire Protection Association of Southern Africa (FPA), Fire Fighting Equipment Traders Association (FFETA), South African Qualification and Certification Committee for the Fire Industry (SAQCC), and South African Fire Services Institute (SAFSI).
Fire-Quip is a B-BBEE Verified company in terms of Codes of Good Practice and DTI Methodology.
